Posted on: January 5, 2011

Every winter Whistler, British Columbia hosts WinterPride, a week of gay skiing and events. This year WinterPride kicks off on January 30, wrapping up on February 6, 2011. Just a two hour drive from Vancouver, Canada, Whistler is a premier ski destination, even before hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics. Eight days long, Whistler gay ski week features plenty of skiing and partying. Spend your time dancing, getting some well deserved rest and relaxation with friends both new and old, eating delicious food, and relaxing in the hotel’s spa. Host hotel, the Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa is a high-quality destination.

Remember the the lack of snow at some 2010 Olympic events? Those events plagued by rain were at the ski hills along Vancouver’s North shore mountains, but Whistler enjoyed a healthy amount of snow thanks to being further North and at higher elevations.
